Cape May, get ready — Craig Whitaker is bringing his Salt & Pine country sound to Elaine’s Cape May on Saturday, May 23 at 5 PM for a Memorial Day weekend show full of Jersey Shore energy.

Whitaker is a rising country musician from South Jersey whose music is rooted in the Jersey Shore, the Pine Barrens, and the communities that tie them together. His new EP, “Where We Grew Up,” is out now and was produced by Jim Riley, drummer of Rascal Flatts.

The timing could not be better. Just weeks after his Elaine’s performance, Craig will make his debut at the sold-out Barefoot Country Music Festival in Wildwood on June 20 — the Northeast’s largest outdoor country music festival.

Fans can also look forward to Craig’s limited-release collaboration with King’s Road Brewing Company: Blue Claw Lemon Lager, a bright, crisp lemon lager inspired by his Shore-summer anthem “Better Than I Remember.” The beer is brewed for long weekends, live music, boardwalk nights, and raising a can with friends while the band plays on.
