Emlen Physick Estate Christmas Tree Lighting
One of South Jersey’s favorite pre Christmas events is this ornate Christmas tree lighting in central Cape May, NJ. It’s fun for the whole family with a free musical performance by the John Walter Community Band and the grand Christmas tree lighting by Santa at 7:00 PM. To top it off, you have the wonderful ability to take open house tours and enjoy an “Old-Fashioned Christmas” exhibit from the Emlen Physick Estate.

There’s little else like the power of traditional Christmas songs joined with the camaraderie of community caroling in a historic town of Victorian architecture decorated to the hilt to get one into the holiday spirit.
