Elaine’s Cape May is proud to host Ukraine in Cape May on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 5–8 PM, supporting the ongoing effort to provide food and shelter for people in Lutsk, Ukraine.
Guests are invited to eat, drink, and enjoy an evening at Elaine’s, with a portion of food proceeds benefiting Cape May Shelters Lutsk.
Cape May Helping Lutsk, Ukraine
The Cape May community has already made an extraordinary difference for families affected by the war in Ukraine.
Over the past four years, the effort has raised more than $1.1 million to help provide food, clothing, and shelter for children, widows, elderly residents, and others relying on shelters in Lutsk.
As Ukraine prepares to face another difficult winter, continued support remains important.
The message behind the August 22 event is simple: We must not forget.
Patrick McGonigal Will Match Donations Up to $10,000
Donations made in connection with the event will have an even greater impact thanks to Patrick McGonigal and the McGonigal Family Giving Fund.
Patrick McGonigal will match donations up to $10,000 for August 22, giving supporters an opportunity to double the impact of their contribution.
Along with the donation match and a portion of Elaine’s food proceeds, the evening will feature raffles and artwork from Zoran in support of the cause.
